It has occurred to me that I need to be better at updating my blogs, feeds, tweets, pits, pats, pots, etc... A lot has happened in the last few months. Mainly I successfully recorded and released my very first album. Something I've been waiting to do my entire life. I could not have done it without the team of people that helped make it happen and the support of all of my family and friends though, this is certain. I've made quite a number of new friends along the way too which, for me, is kind of the point of this endeavor. Share experiences. Hope. Oxygen.
SO... the image above is the College Radio Weighted Chart top 200. The 'weighted' in the name means that the stations reporting in are larger, more wattage, larger coverage areas. I found myself charting in the unweighted chart at around 120, but to break into the top 200 on the "big" chart is exciting. Especially since it is only a few weeks into the radio campaign. Out of this I am hoping to gain some shows in these college towns, interviews and performances on radio, and just all in all feeling good about what I can accomplish with the right attitude and motivations.
I WILL be playing at the Aster here in Minneapolis on January 10th, and as a promotion for that I recorded yet another song at Drum Farm Studio this past weekend. I am excited to roll that out as a single with a video to promote this next show. Trust me, you will know when it is out.
That's all for now. Carry on, bake bread, listen to music, be happy. You dig?
